Lingkod (To Serve)

The boy (Addie) in this painting washing the foot of Jesus even if his left leg is gone. He follows the footsteps of Jesus and takes up his cross of incompleteness.

Bravehearts

Bravehearts

This obra is meant to honor the brave children in the cancer ward. They cannot play under the rain like other children do. A single IV tube could wrack their frail bodies with unimaginable pains.

Hapag ng Pag-ibig

Hapag ng Pag-ibig

Hapag ng Pag-ibig is the sequel to the Table of Hope (Hapag ng Pag-asa). The same streetkids are now enjoying a bountiful feast.  The reward for never loosing hope and faith.

Hapag ng Pag-asa

The Table of Hope (Hapag ng Pag-asa) is a 48x96 inch oil canvas of Jesus sharing his "last supper" with real streetkids from Manila.

Goodbye Joey

It is with deep sadness that we share the news of our dear friend, Joey Velasco’s recent passing. He suffered from a heart attack and seizures a few days ago. Kindly offer prayers for the eternal rest of his soul. May perpetual light shine upon him.

Let us derive comfort from Joey’s own words, and from the words that have inspired him…

Everyone knows he's going to die, but nobody seems to be completely and absolutely prepared for it. Nobody lives each day ready to die; life should be lived to the full each day.

This is why I have nothing but respect and awe for the thoughts of Mahatma Gandhi:

"Each night when I go to sleep, I die. And the next morning, when I wake up, I am reborn."
