Lingkod (To Serve)

Lingkod (To Serve)

The boy (Addie) in this painting washing the foot of Jesus even if his left leg is gone. He follows the footsteps of Jesus and takes up his cross of incompleteness.

Bravehearts

Bravehearts

This obra is meant to honor the brave children in the cancer ward. They cannot play under the rain like other children do. A single IV tube could wrack their frail bodies with unimaginable pains.

Hapag ng Pag-ibig

Hapag ng Pag-ibig

Hapag ng Pag-ibig is the sequel to the Table of Hope (Hapag ng Pag-asa). The same streetkids are now enjoying a bountiful feast.  The reward for never loosing hope and faith.

Hapag ng Pag-asa

Hapag ng Pag-asa

The Table of Hope (Hapag ng Pag-asa) is a 48x96 inch oil canvas of Jesus sharing his "last supper" with real streetkids from Manila.

Steve Jobs an Inspiration?

It is common knowledge that God was the source of hope and inspiration for Joey to escape depression.  However, just like any human being he needs inspiration from his fellow men as well.

In one of those email exchanges we had, Joey asked about people that inspired me.  That is when Steve Jobs came into the story. I provided Joey the link to the famous Youtube video of Steve Jobs giving the commencement speech at Stanford.  He admitted that he watched this once in a while to lift up his emotions and get motivated.

Now I am sharing this to you. We all need someone to look up to.  A real person with real world advise.  I sincerely hope that like Joey, this Steve Jobs video will provide words of encouragement for you to pursue your dreams in life.

Stay hungry...Stay foolish.
